Cecile D’Ascoli began designing clothes for a very simple reason. She needed them. Cecile, avant-garde of global palettes, motifs and colors, has made New Delhi her home and spends summers back in France by the beach. Her husband Peter D’Ascoli’s Faridabad-based textile design studio, Talianna—filled with several thousand metres of fabrics of every conceivable Indian pattern imaginable—became her oyster. And Cecile D’Ascoli, the clothing line, was born.
The company now produces women’s contemporary fashion and home products under the D’Ascoli label.
